Unfortunately only outside at the moment.
Popular with cyclists and hikers alike, but currently only a small menu and no draft beer. You can sit outside for a long time, a patio heater makes it possible. No cell phone network - beneficial for everyone.
A nice place to stay after hiking. Surrounded by the forest with a large meadow and space for many guests. The little ones can look at goats. There is food and drink and the staff are friendly and nice. We always like to take a break.
A dream
Very idyllic place in the middle of the seven mills valley. It's great to stop off, eat and drink after a hike. Currently only stops outside, but as long as the weather allows 👍🏼
The cooking mill is an institution in the Siebenmühlental. A stop there is always an experience for hikers and cyclists. Great, tasty food and cool drinks are the hallmarks of this mill. And the roast beef is an absolute must, like the knuckles with sauerkraut in autumn and winter. It makes your mouth water! Clear recommendation for everyone who appreciates the real and natural !!!
We were here for the first time today and were totally disappointed. No more potato salad, the meat cake in the bun slapped on it completely carelessly. A slice of tomato or a lettuce leaf would have made it look nice. I'm not saying anything about the waiting time, but you knew the weather would be great. One could have responded accordingly. The ambience was very nice
As always in the Kochmühle: rustic, great food, well-chilled and delicious drinks, very friendly staff, a funny and always in a good mood boss. And of course a super scenic place in the Siebenmühlental. Very clear recommendation!
Cozy, small beer garden by the old mill, a few goats around the corner. Big beer selection. Perfect stop on the Sieben Mühlen hiking trail.
A really cozy place to stop off after a long hike
We made a circular hike from the Seebruckmuehle via the Schlösslemuehle to the cooking mill. About 10 km. Partly through the forest and partly through the Reichenbach valley. It was pleasant even at higher temperatures. The cooking mill is a little gem and you can sit outside nicely. The stylish restaurant is closed due to Corona.
Very idyllic. Small selection of food and drinks, but very good quality.
Super nice hosts :-) No wish remains unfulfilled Great environment Always worth a visit
Can you sit nice outdoors Price ok
Nice place in the Siebenmühltal in the Schönbuch. Was unfortunately closed on Monday
Nice, relaxed place, even in times of Corona 😊👍
The food is delicious. I often take a break here on a bike tour for a beer 🍺 and a little something to eat. There are roasts on Fridays. This is also very tasty. The Kochernmühle is located in the middle of the Siebenmühlental. Can also be reached by car. For me, the best stop on the Siebenmühlental path.
Cozy, quaint, great and great roast.
In and of itself, perfectly fine. The fact that the lady behind the counter at the same time takes the order, serves and passes on the food orders in the kitchen you wait quite a while to get your turn. Everyone is waiting in the same row, no matter what is desired. The prices are relatively salted for self-service. Veal sausages with potato salad 8,80 €, filter-coffee 2,80 €; 0,33L Schorle 3,20 € & kl. Draft beer 3, - €; Ice lollipops 2,50 € 4 to choose from. On Sundays there are sausages, Wienerle, Maultaschen or Spätzle. 12:45 o'clock then the sausages were sold out, according to loudspeaker announcement, 26 food.
Quaint place. We were there as a group. Unfortunately, there were some misunderstandings over the meal. Sometimes you were served and sometimes you had to order yourself. Hence 1 point suit. We had 6 large roasts that were exactly as they were ordered. TOP ! Potato salad and the bread are delicious. Herb is okay. Side salad way too expensive for the price.
